Man Without Pants Tells Girls He Has a Puppy, Tries To Drag 8-Year-Old Into His Car

Oklahoma authorities have made an arrest in an incident last month that saw a man grab an 8-year-old girl and try to drag her into his vehicle.

Police said at the time that 22-year-old Alan Montana Anderson-Himes wasn’t wearing pants when he stopped to ask directions of two girls out playing in front of a Mustang home on March 23, according to KWTV.

The two girls, both under 10, ran over to the vehicles as Anderson-Himes asked directions to Mustang High School. But it was his second trip by the house that turned frightening.

He again asked for directions, said Adam Cresser, the 8-year-old’s father, and told the girls he had a puppy in the car.

“He tried to grab her and pull her into the car,” Cresser said. “Her friend ran off, got my wife. She screamed and was able to break free.”

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation released a sketch of the suspect last week and said that the man forced the girl to touch him as he tried to drag her into the car. Ring doorbell video shows the girl’s mother rushing over the car.

Anderson-Himes was arrested Friday and is charged with one count of kidnapping and one count of lewd acts with a child under the age of 16. He is awaiting arraignment in the Canadian County jail, KWTV said.
