Nancy Pelosi’s Husband Arrested for DUI After Being Involved in Crash: Reports

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband was reportedly arrested Saturday in California for drunk driving after he was involved in a car crash.

According to TMZ, Paul Pelosi, 82, was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Napa which entailed a Jeep striking his Porsche. While no injuries were reported, Paul was charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence.

Troopers responded to the scene of the crash. A police report stated that Paul Pelosi was trying to cross State Road 29 when he was struck. The report did not state who was to blame for the crash, but the driver of the Jeep was not arrested, according to CNN.

A spokesperson for Nancy Pelosi — who was in Rhode Island to deliver a commencement address at Brown University — told The New York Times that the Speaker was not with her husband at the time of Saturday’s incident.

Reports indicated that Paul and Nancy Pelosi own a vineyard in Napa Valley.
