$10K Reward Offered for Missing California Woman As Distraught Parents Plead for Information

The distraught parents of a missing California woman are pleading for help to find their daughter, who hasn’t been seen for two weeks

Now a $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to her location, Fox News reports..

Authorities initially said Jolissa Fuentes, 22, was last seen at an AM/PM gas station in Selma, California, around 4 a.m. on August 7, as CrimeOnline previously reported.

But investigators have reportedly obtained a video recording of her driving somewhere else later, although they have not shared details of that sighting.

“We picked her up on camera after that. However, we’re not going to relinquish that information, as we … have to kind of consider all avenues,” Selma Police Chief Rudy Alcaraz told Fox News. “Right now, there’s nothing that is insinuating foul play, but, again, we don’t have much information.”

Fuentes’ family believes she may have gone to a rural area with vineyards and orchards located east of Selma, which is where she once spent time clearing her head after a good friend died last year.

Police are now searching in that vicinity near Avocado Lake and Pine Flat Lake.

On the evening she vanished, Fuentes had returned home from a party to get cash and a bag and then went to the gas station, KSEE-TV reports.

She reportedly has not been in touch with any family or friends and has not answered her phone.

Fuentes’ parents, Norma Nunez and Joey Fuentes, told Fox News they search for their daughter every day, canvassing the community with posters and asking people for surveillance camera footage.

“What I don’t understand is, if you’ve got all these resources and other agencies involved — police say the FBI is getting involved — we should have something. These are some of our top, trained agencies in the United States, supposedly,” Joey Fuentes told Fox News.

He added: “We’re doing all we can do. We don’t know what to do.”

At the time she went missing, Fuentes was driving a silver 2011 Hyundai Accent. The vehicle has California license plate number 8MPU766.

Fuentes’ parents have launched a GoFundMe account raising money for the search.

“First off thank you Jesus for your loving grace, this is my daughter Jolissa Fuentes who went missing since Sunday August 7, 2022,” the GoFundMe page reads. “We are lost without her, we are asking for the public’s help to fund the efforts in the search for my Jolissa. Anything that God puts in your heart is appreciated. Please help bring my baby girl home back to us.”
