‘Cult mom’ Lori Vallow’s Son Charged With Sexual Assault

Accused child murderer Lori Vallow’s sole surviving child has been arrested and accused of sexual assault.

Colby Ryan — the biological son of Vallow’s second husband, William Lagioia — was booked into Maricopa County Jail in Arizona on September 4 on two counts of domestic violence sexual assault, according to KSAZ.

Court documents say the incident took place on August 31, and the alleged victim reported it on September 2.

Investigators say Ryan went to the victim’s home, and the pair watched television together before engaging in consensual romantic contact. But the victim told police she decided not to continue into sexual contact and told Ryan to stop multiple times, but he did not comply.

After Ryan finished, the victim told him she wasn’t OK with what happened and asked for space.

“The Victim said the Defendant said he was sorry and started to cry,” the documents say.

The following morning, the victim recorded a conversation with Ryan in which he “agreed that he ‘raped’ the Victim,” according to the documents.

Ryan admitted to the incidents in a post-Miranda interview with detectives, the documents say.

Colby Ryan is Lori Vallow’s first child. She and fifth husband Chad Daybell are accused of killing Vallow’s other two children, Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow — whose bodies were found buried on property owned by Daybell — as well as Daybell’s first wife, Tammy Daybell, as CrimeOnline has reported. Additionally, Vallow is charged with conspiracy in the death of her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, shortly before Tylee and JJ disappeared, Tammy Daybell mysterious died, and she married Chad Daybell.
