‘Where Is Nancy?’: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Husband Attacked With Hammer in Home

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband was attacked on Friday by someone who broke into their California home, according to reports.

Paul Pelosi, 82, is expected to recover from the attack which occurred at the couple’s home in San Francisco. Sources told CNN that the assailant, who was arrested, entered the home through the back and attacked Paul with a hammer.

According to The Los Angeles Times, Paul suffered numerous blows to his upper body. San Francisco police told the news outlet that they responded to the residence at 2:30 a.m.

A motive is unclear. Officials have not released the suspect’s name.

Nancy Pelosi was in Washington, D.C. at the time of the incident.
