Middle School Teacher Who Vanished in September is Found ‘Alive and Well’ in Different State

A Texas woman who vanished in September has reportedly been found alive in Louisiana.

In a statement issued to the Houston Chronicle, police in Brazoria County, Texas, said on Tuesday that Louisiana State Police have located Michelle Reynolds, 48, “alive and well” and she is with her family. Additional details regarding her discovery were not provided, per the request of her family.

Reynolds, a middle school teacher at Fairview Junior High, never came back home after claiming to get something to eat on September 22. Days later, her car was found abandoned in New Orleans with her phone and belongings inside. Surveillance footage from the area showed her walking away from the vehicle.
