Ye Grabs Phone From Woman Filming Him as He Leaves Daughter’s Hoops Game

The artist formerly known as Kanye West is reportedly under investigation for battery after he allegedly grabbed a woman’s phone on Friday while she was filming him from her car and threw it into the street.

A law enforcement source told TMZ Ye is the named suspect in the investigation.

“Stop with your cameras,” Ye says in video shot by someone else in the same car. “You’re a celebrity,” the woman driving the car says before the hip hop star, who has lost endorsements over recent antisemitic rants, snatches the phone from her hand and dashes it onto the asphalt. Then he approaches a man standing behind his SUV holding a camera before TMZ’s video ends.

Earlier, in a video shared by Vanity Fair, Ye remains in his car while telling a paparazzi that he “just wanna see my kids” and “everybody gotta stop when I see my kids;”

Ye was momentarily speechless when the photog said, “You can’t go home and see them?”

“It’s called human rights,” Ye says before driving off.

The incidents took place after his daughter, North, played in a basketball game.

Deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident and received the video, TMZ’s source said.
