A Hong Kong model’s ex-husband and former in-laws have been arrested after investigators found her body parts in a refrigerator and soup pots in a house rented by her ex-father-in-law.

Abby Choi, a rising influencer with 115,000 followers on Instagram, was reported missing on February 21. Her last Instagram post was two days earlier, touting a photoshoot with the fashion magazine L’Officiel Monaco, CBS News reports.

Police found Choi’s dismembered body in the refrigerator on Friday and a skull believed to be Chois’s in a cooking post on Sunday. Hong Kong Police Superintendent Alan Chung said investigators also found an electri saw and a meat grinder that had been used to mince human flesh inside the house.

“Two pots of stew believed to contain human tissue” were at the scene, he said.

Choi’s ex, 28-year-old Alex Kwong, her former father in-law Kong Kau, and former brother-in-law Anthony Kwong have been charged with murder. The model’s ex-mother-in-law, Jenny Li, has been charged with perverting the course of justice. All four are being held without bail. Alex Kwong was captured as he tried to flee Hong Kong by boat, officials said.

Chung said that Choi and her in-laws apparently had financial disputes involved tens of millions of Hong Kong dollars (millions in US dollars).

Choi was a mother of four, friends said: A 10-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter with Kwong and a 6-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son with her current husband, Chris Tam.

The family is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing in May.
