66-Year-Old Florida Woman Lost in National Forest for a Week

Florida investigators are searching for a 66-year-old woman who may be lost in the woods of the Ocala National Forest.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said that Theresa Hartley was last seen on March 10 while on North Forest Road 88 with a friend when their vehicle got stuck. The friend told Hartley to stay with the vehicle while the friend went for help. When the friend returned, Hartley wasn’t there.

“it is possible that she has a mental condition and may have become lost in the woods,” the sheriff’s office said.

Hartley is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall with blonde hair and blue eyes.

The sheriff’s office asked anyone with information to call 911.
