Alabama Man Fatally Shoots Parents During Argument

A 25-year-old Alabama man was arrested Saturday afternoon for the shooting death of his parents.

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office said they were called to the scene at about 1:30 p.m. in an unincorporated area of Spanish Fort. They found two victims inside the home, both dead from gunshot wounds.

“Based on preliminary information, we believe that Trinell Brown went to his parents’ residence and confronted them about an ongoing family dispute,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement. “During the argument, Brown shot and killed both of his parents.”

Afterward, he allegedly left and told witnesses that he had killed his parents. Those witnesses alerted police, who took Brown into custody.

No other information was released. According to jail records, Brown is being held without bond on two counts of murder.
