Amanda Bynes’ Psychiatric Hold Extended After She’s Found Naked & Alone on Streets

Nickelodeon actress Amanda Bynes reportedly remains under a 5150 psychiatric hold after she was allegedly found walking naked and alone in California last Sunday.

According to TMZ, the hold pertaining to Bynes, 36, was extended for at least another week. She reportedly remains hospitalized in Los Angeles, where she may have lived on the streets several days before she flagged down a driver and told them she was experiencing a mental health episode.

According to the tabloid, Bynes was apparently on the streets since her car was towed in Long Beach, which is 40 miles from her home. She is believed to have hitchhiked and used public transit to get around Los Angeles.

Sources told TMZ that Bynes’ car had no gas when it was towed and she was on the streets without a cell phone.

TMZ reported that Bynes has bipolar disorder and she was previously placed under a psychiatric hold in 2013, leading her mother to become her conservator. However, the conservatorship — which protected her person and estate — ended last year after 9 years.
