Michigan WOMAN’S BODY FOUND IN ABANDONED ‘BOYSVILLE’ FACILITY

Michigan State Police say three people have been arrested for the murder of a 22-year-old woman who was found dead, bound and wrapped in a tarp in an abandoned juvenile detention facility last month.

Kayla Sedoskey’s mouth was taped shut when she was found on March 3 at the Boysville Juvenile Detention Center in Frenchtown Township, just a few miles from her home.

Sierra Bemis, 23, and Brian Smith, 20, have been charged with murder and conspiracy in Michigan, WTOL reported. Another woman, who has not been named pending arraignment, was arrested on the same charges in Ohio.

Bemis is being held on a $500,000 bond, while Smith is being held on a $1 million bond.

Police have not identified a motive for the slaying.

According to an obituary, Sedoskey had a young son.
