5 Dead, 6 Wounded in Shooting at Downtown Louisville Bank

At least five people were killed Monday morning in a shooting at a bank in downtown Louisville, Kentucky.

Louisville Police said that six people were wounded and that the shooter was also dead, although it wasn’t clear if the suspect was counted in the five people killed.

A Louisville police officer was among the wounded.

The shooting was at the Old National Bank building, next to Louisville Slugger Field.

In a video sent to WLKY, gunshots can be heard and a voice shouts “active shooter at the bank.”

Mayor Craig Greenberg tweeted out for people to avoid the area, and Gov. Andy Beshear was said to Louisville.
