Masseur Charged With Sexually Assaulting Patron at Wife’s Acupuncture Clinic

Riverside police have arrested a massage therapist at a California accupuncture clinic, charging him with sexually assaulting a patron.

Jungsik Mo, 67, was working as an unlicensed masseur at Healing Tree Acupuncture and Wellness Center, which is owned by his wife. There is another location, called Haim Healing Center, in Fullerton, detectives said.

Police began investigating after receiving a complaint in early March. Mo was arrested on April 24 and charged with two counts of sexual assault.

He has since been released on a $75,000 bond, the Press Enterprise reported.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims. Anyone with additional information should contact Detective Edward Vazquez at 951-353-7136 or email EVazquez@RiversideCA.gov.
