Sex Offender Suffocates 15-Year-Old ‘Girlfriend’ With Pillow, Stashes Her Body in Dumpster

A sex offender in Illinois has been charged with killing a 15-year-old girl who was found dead in a dumpster on Sunday.

WTVO reported that the victim, Gracie Sasso-Cleveland, was last seen by family on Thursday. Phone records placed her in the 500 block of College Avenue in Dekalb, not far from where her body was eventually discovered.

Dekalb police disclosed that  Timothy Doll, 29, has been charged with Sasso-Cleveland’s murder. Doll is deemed a “sexual predator” due to sexually abusing a 14 year old. He also has a child pornography conviction which involved a victim younger than 13. Doll was 26 at the time of the offenses.

Presumably referring to Doll, a GoFundMe established for Sasso-Cleveland alleged that the teen recently learned the man she believed she was dating was a 29-year-old sex offender with a “lengthy rap sheet.”

WTVO reported that Doll had suffocated Sasso-Cleveland with a pillow during an argument before discarding her body in a dumpster. Doll allegedly also removed all her belongings from his apartment and threw away her phone nearby.

The DeKalb County Coroner’s Office confirmed Sasso-Cleveland died of asphyxiation.

According to Shaw Local, Doll was on probation for child sex crimes at the time of Sasso-Cleveland’s murder. The news outlet reported that Doll’s arrest in 2020 occurred after police learned of a video of Doll sexually assaulting a minor girl.

Doll is charged with first-degree murder, aggravated criminal sexual abuse, concealment of a homicide, aggravated domestic battery, obstruction of justice, unlawful restraint, and unlawful communication by a child sex offender.

Reports indicated that Doll is undergoing a medical procedure before he is booked into jail.
