Arizona Woman Charged With Murder After Killing Her Boyfriend With Car

An Arizona woman has been charged with second degree murder after she allegedly rammed her boyfriend with her car during an argument.

Casa Grande police said they were called to the scene of a “motor vehicle versus pedestrian collision” Saturday morning just after 8:30 a.m. The found Billy Stephens, 59, on the ground near the road with “what appeared to be significant trauma.”

Stephens was flown to a Phoenix traum a hospital, where he died.

Police said Stephens’ girlfriend, 51-year-old Shelly Shears, was found near the victim. She was arrested after the investigation learned that a domestic dispute led to the incident.
