Mom Charged With Murdering Infant Daughter With Sex Offender Boyfriend Gets Jail Release on Reduced Bond

An Alabama woman who was charged with killing her infant daughter in 2021 was bonded out of jail as she and her boyfriend await trial.

WTVM reported that Ashley Jacks’ bond was reduced to $100,000 from $1 million. She and her boyfriend, Joshua Lovechio, are charged with murdering their daughter after she was brought to a Birmingham hospital with injuries consistent with child abuse.

Lovechio is a registered sex offender who was convicted in 2019 of sodomizing two underage girls. Lovechio was released from custody eight months later.

Jacks’ trial is scheduled to begin on October 30. Lovechio — who remains jailed on $1 million bond — will stand trial on September 18.
