Mom of Young Son Found Dead Weeks After Missing Family’s Easter Dinner

A Washington, D.C. woman who vanished in April was found dead on Saturday in Maryland.

Sources told WRC that Danielle Moss was found in a wooded area in Waldorf. Moss was last seen on April 8 on Q Street SE, are the circumstances surrounding her death remain undisclosed.

Moss, who was reported missing on April 11, is believed to have disappeared on April 9.

Gloria Hammond, Moss’ stepmother, told WRC that police are speaking with a person of interest in this case. The father of Moss’ 4-year-old son said he and their son were on vacation when Moss vanished, and that he sent her pictures that she never responded to.

Authorities have not said whether foul play was involved in Moss’ disappearance and death. A cause of death was not disclosed.
