Suspect in 10-Year-Old’s Death Linked to 24-Year-Old Woman Found Dead in Hotel Room

The suspect in the murder of a 10-year-old Illinois girl has been linked to a woman found dead in a hotel room earlier this month.

Antonio Moore, 44, was jailed on murder, attempted murder, and kidnapping charges for the death of the 10-year-old Destiny Huggins and an attack on her 6-year-old sister on Sunday in Rockford, as CrimeOnline reported.

The younger girl escaped and ran to her mother, who immediately called police. Destiny’s body was found less than an hour later, and Moore was located  few blocks away and arrested.

Moore is a registered sex offender, and Rockford police said they had not been notified he was in their jurisdiction.

Now, police in the Chicago surburb of Schaumburg say Moore was with Natalie Negray, 24, before she was found dead on July 5, WFLD reports. No charges have been filed in Negray’s death, which is still under investigation. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet determined a cause and manner of death.
