Homicide Victim Found Wrapped in Tarp on Trash Pile Identified 7 Months Later

This week, forensic experts reportedly identified a man who was found dead last year in a remote desert area in Arizona.

In December 2022, a deceased man was found wrapped in a tarp on a debris pile in Yucca. Months later, in February, Mohave County police sent a sample of those remains to Othram Inc., a Texas-based genealogy lab that eventually identified the homicide victim as Brandon Parlanti, 50, according to KPHO.

The circumstances regarding Parlanti’s death are still unclear. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division at 928-753-0753, ext. 4288, and reference DR# 22-045997.
