Alex Murdaugh SHIRTLESS SELFIES Behind Bars

Convicted double murderer Alex Murdaugh is seen in a series of “selfies” from his cell in South Carolina, all apparently taken from his prison-issued tablet.

Murdaugh didn’t actually take the photos himself — the YouTube channel Phone Calls From Prison, which obtained the snaps through a Freedom of Information Act request, says the tablet automatically takes a photo whenever the prisoner logs on.

Prisoners are issued the tablets to watch movies or play games. They also make video calls from them.

Murdaugh appears shirtless in some of the photos, or lying on his bed yawning as he waits for the table to boot up.

Murdaugh is serving two life sentences for gunning down his wife Maggie and son Paul in June 2021. He is also awaiting trial on dozens of financial crimes charges alleging that he scammed million from his former law firm and clients.

He is also the sole remaining defendant in the wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family of Mallory Beach, who died when Paul Murdaugh drunkenly crashed his father’s boat into a bridge in 2019. All the others named in the suit — surviving son Buster, his wife’s estate, and the owner of the convenience store that sold Paul Murdaugh alcohol before the crash — have settled.
