VIDEO: Murder Suspect CHUCKLES in Court About Jury Viewing Victim’s Severed Head in Bucket

A Wisconsin woman who is currently on trial for strangling, decapitating, and dismembering her lover in 2022 was reportedly spotted laughing in court on Tuesday as her attorney revealed grisly details of the murder.

The video, obtained by Law & Crime, shows Taylor Schabusiness’ attorney asking the court if the jury will review photos of Shad Thyrion’s severed head in a bucket. Schabusiness, 25, is seen side-eying her lawyer before she openly laughs and leans forward in her chair.

Schabusiness allegedly confessed to being on drugs when she strangled Thyrion with a metal chain while having sexual intercourse in the basement of his family’s Brown County home. She is accused of hiding his mutilated body parts throughout the home and in a car.

Cops who responded to the residence on February 23, 2022, found Thyrion’s severed head in a bucket. Testimony on Monday revealed that Thyrion’s mother initially believed her son’s head was fake.

WLUK reported that jurors did see pictures of Thyrion’s decapitated head from an autopsy. Dr. Vincent Tranchida, a Dane County medical examiner who performed the autopsy, testified that it would have taken Schabusiness hours to dismember Thyrion.

“We have decapitation, we have dismemberment, we have [a] transection of the torso, subsequently internally the body has been eviscerated. In other words, we have entered inside the body through various cuts through the abdomen and between the ribs where the victim’s organs have been removed, largely one by one,” Tranchida said, per the news outlet.

Last week, Schabusiness was found mentally fit to stand trial. Her first attorney withdrew after Schabusiness attacked him during a court hearing in February.

Held on $2 million bail, Schabusiness is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, third-degree sexual abuse, and mutilating a corpse. Her trial continues.
