North Carolina Teen Charged With Sex Crimes Against a Minor and Trying to Contaminate Food at Hardee’s Where He Worked

A 19-year-old North Carolina man was arrested Wednesday and charged with sex offenses against a minor and trying to contaminate food at the restaurant where he worked.

Dasan Prentis Leviner has been charged with dissemination of obscene material to a minor under 16, exploitation of a minor, and contamination of food or drink by a controlled substances, Scotland County Sheriff’s Capt. Randy Dover told WPDE.

An investigation uncovered multiple images, videos, and evidence of sexual contact between Leviner and a minor, Dover said.

Leviner also put “marijuana wax into a double fryer at his employer, Hardee’s, in Laurel Hill, NC in order to contaminate fried foods,” Dover said.

Leviner was given a $2.5 million bond and remains behind bars.
