An Indiana woman and her 5-year-old daughter were found dead on Thursday in what is being investigated as a murder-suicide.
Tracy Bondurant, 43, and her child, Rayleigh Bloyd, were discovered at Bondurant’s Lafayette home. It is unclear how they died, but police Lt. Justin Hartman said they do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public, according to the Journal & Courier.
An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday. Additional details surrounding Bourdant and Bloyd’s deaths were not disclosed.
