Apparent Homicide Victim Found in Blood-Stained Trash Can, Investigation Underway

North Carolina police are investigating a man’s body was reportedly discovered in a trash can on Sunday.

Greenville police responded to a suspicious activity call after someone spotted blood on a trash container. Officers who arrived at the residence ultimately discovered Antonio Bond’s body in the trash container, according to  WCTI.

A neighbor told WITN that Bond’s body was in one of two trash cans located in the home’s side yard.

Police said the 35-year-old’s death does not appear natural, and an autopsy will be performed this week to confirm his cause of death. Police also said they have strong leads in this case.

Anyone with information regarding Bond’s death should call the Greenville Police Department at 252-329-4315 or Crime Stoppers at 252-758-7777.
