Missing Woman’s License Plate Was ‘Randomly Run’ in Another State a Month After Her Disappearance

Minnesota police said on Wednesday that authorities there ran a license plate belonging to a North Dakota woman who vanished in July.

Stearns County police said a deputy randomly ran Jonett Wanner’s plate near St. Cloud on August 12, a month after she logged out from work at home in West Fargo, North Dakota, and vanished. Though her disappearance was reported in July, Stearns County police said the deputy was unaware at the time that she was missing — nor could he recall what type of car had the plates, according to Inforum.

Wanner, 50, reportedly has access to a gray 2017 Nissan Rogue with a North Dakota license plate reading 261AZY.

In mid-September, West Fargo police contacted Stearns County police about them possibly running Wanner’s plates. KVLY reported that the car with Wanner’s plates was not stopped at the time because the license plate information was not immediately available.

Wanner was described as being 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 100 pounds, and having blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair. She may be traveling with her dog, a Chihuahua terrier named Scooby.

Anyone with information regarding Wanner’s whereabouts is asked to call the West Fargo Police Department at 701-515-5500.
