Murder Warrant Issued for Massachusetts Man Accused of Killing Wife

A murder warrant was issued Wednesday for a Massachusetts man suspected of fatally shooting his wife earlier this week.

Investigators had already been searching for 33-year-old Air Force veteran Aaron Pennington after his wife, Breanne Pennington, was found shot dead inside the couple’s Gardner home on Sunday, as CrimeOnline reported.

Police were alerted to the scene after the couple’s four children fled the house to a neighbor’s and said their mother was crying in her bedroom and they couldn’t find their father.

Police found Pennington’s late model white BMW late Monday afternoon but were unable to find the suspect after searching for several hours.

The murder charge was filed Wednesday in Gardner District Court, Worcester County Distrit Attorney Joseph Early Jr said, according to the Associated Press.

The Massachusetts State Police is assisting Gardner Police in the investigation, along with detectives assigned to the district attorney’s office.

Police warn not to approach Pennington, saying he is potentially armed.
