BREAKING: Cops Surround Maine Shooting Suspect’s Home, Calling for Him to Come Out

Police in Maine are executing search warrants at locations associated with mass shooting suspect Robert Card in Bowdoin.

Shortly after 7 p.m., police asked reporters near Card’s Bowdoin home to turn out their lights as the situation was dangerous, New Center Maine reports.

Shannon Moss, public information officer for Maine State Police, said that police were not certain if Card was inside the home. Moss said officers are executing search warrants in the area and that the calls to come out are standard procedure.

Law enforcement officers in heavy gear have been on the scene with helicopters hovering overhead for several hours. Teams with dogs are also on the scene.

Previously, investigators found a note at one of the homes they were searching and are working to determine how the note plays into the investigation. They did not say what the note contained.
