Indiana Man Breaks Into Room of Girl, 13, With Credit Card, Duct Tapes, Sex Attacks

A 32-year-old has been arrested for molesting a 13-year-old girl last year.

Formal charges have not yet been filed against Scott A. Eacret, Jr., who also reportedly sent semi-nude photos to the girl earlier this year and threatened her not to tell anyone, according to WXIN.

The victim told a school social worker and family in June about the attacks, a probable cause affidavit says. Both family and the counselor contacted law enforcement.

The victim  told investigators there were several instances of Eacret breaking into her bedroom, allegedly using a credit card to slip the lock, including two times that he reportedly duct taped her mouth.

Before removing the tape, he allegedly told her to keep quiet about what he was doing and to “remember how crazy my family is,” the Herald-Bulletin reported.

Detectives found a photo on her cellphone that Eacret sent to the girl showing a knife with her name carved on it.

Eacret was arrested on two counts of child molestation on October 26, and his attorney, who was with him when he was arrested, told him to keep quiet.
