Woman Found Dead in Burning Metal Drum

Firefighters called to the scene of a fire in a metal drum in Henderson, Nevada, Tuesday night found the body of a woman inside once the fire was extinguished.

They called police to the scene to investigate the apparent homicide.

Officials were called to the scene near the Harry Reid International Airport just before 8 p.m., Henderson Police said.

Police said the Clark County Coroner’s Office would release the identity of the woman once next of kin notifications are complete.
