Florida Woman Stabs Boyfriend in Eye With Rabies Needle for Looking at Other Women

A Florida woman was arrested on Saturday for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend in the eyelid with a hypodermic needle during a dispute.

WTVJ reported that Sandra Jimenez, 44, had accused her boyfriend of looking at other women before hopping on top of him and stabbing him with a rabies needle intended for their dogs. Jimenez allegedly fled the scene after the assault, in which the victim was hospitalized.

Miami police officers who responded to the home eventually found Jimenez sleeping in her car. Jimenez claimed her boyfriend’s injuries were self-inflicted before she was arrested, according to WTVJ.

Jimenez was charged with aggravated battery. Her bond was set at $7,500.
