Teen Woman Charged With Threatening Uvalde Community ‘In the Name of Salvador’ Ramos, the School Shooter

Victoria Gabriela Rodriguez-Morales, who previously lived in Uvalde, also claimed to have been Ramos’s girlfriend and had been making threats for years.

A federal grand jury has indicted a 19-year-old woman who claims to have been the girlfriend of school shooter Salvador Ramos on 13 counts of threats made against the Uvalde community in the wake of the May 24, 2022 shooting.

Ramos killed 19 students and two teachers at Robb Elementary School that day while police stood outside the classroom where he was barricaded for more than an hour, as CrimeOnline reported. A Border Patrol tactical team eventually burst through the unlocked door and killed him.

Victoria Gabriela Rodríguez-Morales was indicted by a grand jury in Puerto Rico on Wednesday for making interstate threats, according to the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Puerto Rico.

“The U.S. Attorney’s Office has no tolerance for illegal threats, especially threats that target people who are the victims of the horrific mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas,” said U.S. Attorney W. Stephen Muldrow. “We hope that this arrest brings a sense of peace to those who were targeted by the defendant.”

According to the indictment, Rodriguez-Morales made her threats using Gmail, Instagram, Facebook, and Kick.com against friends and family of victims, schools, hospitals, and law enforcement in Uvalde, often referencing Ramos. In one, she said of the Robb Elementary shooting as “all the little losers souls die and went to their little so far called heaven I pray for them to be in the burning hell.”

Other threats included:

  • “I will haunt everyone from class 2022 to 2023 Each and every single one of y’all will die”
  • “Each and every single one of y’all will die in the name of Salvador”
  • “Your childrens hospital may blow in pieces If yall dont do as i say”
  • “there will be bombs at the uvalde memorial hospital”
  • “We will shoot Uvalde Texas high school and Texas A&M college”
  • “If Mata Rubio wins the elections I will kill her”

Mata Rubio is Kimberly Mata-Rubio, mother of Lexi Rubio, one of the Robb Elementary victims. Mata-Rubio ran unsuccessfully for Uvalde mayor this year.

At least one of Rodriguez-Morales’s threats prompted the temporary closing of a Texas school.

Rodriguez-Morales had been making threats for years, as far back as 2018 when she was living in Texas, and they intensified after the Uvalde shooting. The indictment includes only threats made between May and October 2023.

The documents say her family moved to Puerto Rico in 2020, after she was released from juvenile supervision following an arrest for the earlier threats.

Court documents say that she claimed to Ramos’s girlfriend and, in one post, that she helped plan the Uvalde attack, although Ramos “dint wait” and carried it out alone.

The US Attorney’s Office said that each of the 13 counts carries a maximum 5 years in prison on conviction.
