Pennsy Woman Admits Killing 10-Month-Old, 2-Year-Old Sons

Quanesha Lindsey had been charged with child abuse in 2019 in Florida.

A 27-year-old woman, previously arrested on child abuse charges in Florida, has been charged with killing her two young sons in Pennsylvania.

Quanesha Shaquella Monio Lindsey, was arrested in 2019 in Sunrise when she slammed her 2-year-old son’s head into a metal bedpost because he didn’t obey her when she ordered him to come inside and watch television, WPLG reported. He was outside with his aunt at the time.

The latest arrest came last week in Harmony Township, Pennsylvania, where she is now living, when police got a report about a 4-month-old baby not breathing. When they arrived, they found the baby’s uncle performing CPR on the boy on a bed in the basement. Officers took over CPR and sent the uncle upstairs but said in a criminal complaint the child was cold to the touch and appeared to be already dead.

He was pronounced dead a short time later.

The infant was also wearing a winter jacket, although the room was warmed by a space heater.

The complaint said that Lindsey told investigators she put her son to bed about 2 a.m. on Saturday and that he woke up crying about 5 a.m., but he hadn’t moved or made a noise since that time.

She later admitted that she strangled the boy to death that morning and said she had also suffocated her 2-year-old son about six weeks earlier. She demonstrated how she killed the children using a mannequin, WTAE reported.

The station reported a family member found the 2-year-old unresponsive on October 21 and called police. Beaver County District Attorney David Lozier said investigators had found no reason to suspect Lindsey until her confession.

Lindsey has been charged with murder, strangulation, and abuse of a corpse and is being held in the Beaver County Jail without bond.

It’s not clear what happened to the boy involved in the Florida abuse case. According to Broward County Court records, the case was transferred to the mental health division and Lindsey was declared incompetent to stand trial several times before the case was dismissed on mental health grounds.
