VIDEO: ‘Cult Mom’ Lori Vallow Smiles in Court as She’s Arraigned for 4th Husband’s Slaying

On Thursday, Lori Vallow Daybell was arraigned in Arizona on murder charges in the 2019 shooting death of her fourth husband.

Vallow Daybell was extradited to Arizona from Idaho — where she is serving life sentences for killing her two children, J.J. Vallow and Tylee Ryan in September 2019, months after her brother, Alex Cox, fatally shot Charles Vallow. Vallow Daybell has pleaded not guilty to conspiring to kill Charles Vallow in July 2019 so she could collect $1 million and marry Chad Daybell, who is awaiting trial for her children’s murders, according to KPHO.

Cox claimed the shooting was self-defense months before he reportedly died of natural charges. Cox’s death also occurred months after J.J. Vallow and Ryan’s disappearances — which Idaho prosecutors also claimed he was involved in.

Vallow Daybell and Charles Daybell married weeks after his wife died in October 2019. Vallow Daybell was also sentenced to life in prison for conspiring Charles Daybell’s wife’s death, which was initially ruled natural.

Vallow Daybell is also charged in Arizona for conspiring to kill her nephew-in-law in October 2019. East Idaho News reported that Cox is believed to have shot at him but missed.
