18-Year-Old Man, 3 Juveniles Arrested for Murder; Victims Found Shot Dead in a Car

A North Carolina man and three juveniles have been charged with murder after a man and a woman were found shot dead in their car early Saturday morning in Winston-Salem.

Police responded to a call shortly after 2 a.m. about gunshots and a car that crashed into several parked vehicles and found Jahir Jimenez-Laredo, 20, and Mitzi Saldana-Clemente, 21, dead from gunshot wounds in a car along Barnes Road, WFMY said.

About three hours later, officers found Ryan Anguiano Prudente, 18, and two juveniles walking along US 52, WXII reported. A third juvenile was found hiding nearby. Investigators said they found evidence linking all four to the murders, although they did not discuss the nature of that evidence.

Prudente and the three children were charged with two counts each of general murder. Prudente is in custody at the Forsyth County Detention Center with no bond and is due in court on Monday. No further information will be released on the children.
