Suspect Poses as Waffle House Worker for 2 Hours to Steal Money From Cash Register

Georgia police are looking for a woman who allegedly stole money from a Waffle House last week by posing as an employee.

The unidentified woman — who wore a uniform — reportedly worked at a Riverdale Waffle House for two hours on December 12 before taking money from a cash register. Investigators believe the suspect may have worked at a Waffle House, just not the one she is accused of stealing from, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Authorities have not disclosed how much money was stolen. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Riverdale police at 770-996-3382.
