Texas Cops Looking for Road Rager Who Shot Man in the Face on I-45

Texas authorities have released a sketch of a man wanted for shooting a driver in the head on Interstate 45 last month.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said that Arthur Luna Jr. called 911 at about 5 a.m. on December 14, 2023, after the unknown man, in a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, began driving aggressively. He pulled alongside Luna and fired, striking him in the face, KRIV reported.

Luna, who had been driving to work that morning, made it to a gas station and called 911. He was taken to a hospital in stable condition. He is expected to recover.

The suspect is described as a bearded white man, aged 40 to 50. He was wearing a distinctive black “veterans” baseball cap with small badges on it.

Anyone with information or who recognizes the suspect should call the HCSO Violent Crime unit at 713-274-9100. Crime Stoppers may offer a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, charging, and arrest of the suspect.
