Washington State Police Search For Man Believed to Have Kidnapped Infant Son

Police in Washington state are searching for a missing and endangered infant believed to be with his 37-year-old father.

Port Townsend Police said that Jordan T. Sorensen is wanted for questioning related to kidnapping, criminal mistreatment, and reckless endangerment, KOMO reported. They said the man is “unable to provide the basic necessities of life for the child” and that he is actively trying to avoid law enforcement.

Sorensen is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall and about 220 pounds with blue eyes and blond hair. He was last seen wearing a brown Carhart jacket and carrying a dark-colored backpack at Kah Tai Park.

Police believe he could be in the wooded areas around Port Townsend.

Police did not provide a description or a name for the infant.
