Kentucky Woman Tries to Fight Neighbor With Knife, Offers ‘Sexual Favors’ to Cops to Let Her Go

A Kentucky woman was arrested this week on multiple charges after she allegedly chased her neighbors with a knife and then offered “sexual favors” to a police officer to avoid charges.

Hannah Hayes has been charged with burglary, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a minor, third degree assault of a police officer using bodily fluids, and bribery of a public servant, WAVE reported.

The incident began late Thursday night when neighbors reported Hayes was chasing people with a knife and banging on doors. Louisville Police officers arrived and found her banging on and breaking the windows of an apartment while screaming at the resident. She had a small frying pan next to her when she was detained.

After she was taken into custody, the officers realized she had multiple cuts on her hands and saw a blood trail leading to a different apartment. Hayes was known to the officers, officials said, and she was known to have a toddler. The officers made entry into her apartment and secured the child then followed the blood trail to a knife in the sink.

Court documents say the neighbor said Hayes was “highly intoxicated” when she started banging on her door, demanding that she come outside and fight. When the neighbor didn’t come out, she said, Hayes tried to break in.

Officers took Hayes to a hospital to be checked out for her injuries. While there, she told the officers without prodding that “I don’t even care about my child.” She also allegedly spit on multiple emergency medical services and hospital staff, using racial slurs including calling a nurse a “cracker.” The docuents also say she damaged hospital property and tried to pay police to let her go and offered “sexual favors” in return for being released.

Hayes appeared in court on Saturday and was given a $10,000 bond. She’s due back in court on February 19.
