A Wisconsin woman out on bond after allegedly killing a man who raped and trafficked her and other girls was arrested this week in Louisiana after nearly two weeks on the run.

Chrystul Kizer, 23, was free on a $400,000 bond for the June 2018 shooting death of Randall Volar III, 34, according to WISN. According to The Associated Press, prosecutors have videotapes of some of Volar’s assaults on girls, court documents say. Kizer, who was 17 when she was raped, is scheduled to go on  trial on  June 10.

One of the conditions of Kizer’s bond was that she not commit any other crimes, but she was charged last month with a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge, and prosecutors filed a bail jumping charge against her.

Kizer gave an interview to the Washington Post in 2019 about the abuse she and the other girls suffered at Volar’s hands. Volar was arrested for the crimes but released without bail and allegedly continued to rape and traffick the girls.

District Attorney Michael Graveley accused Kizer of killing him solely to steal his car.

Kizer is being held for extradition at the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center, WISN reported.
