Missing Ohio Woman Found Dead; Husband Charged

An Ohio woman missing for nearly a week was found dead Tuesday morning, and her husband has been arrested for her murder.

Chandra Poudel-Rimal, 33, was last seen on the morning of February 21. Her husband, 33-year-old James Rimal, called police that morning, saying he woke up in their Cuyahoga Falls home and she was gone.

Investigators found Poudel-Rimal’s body in an area they were searching along the line between Summit and Portage Counties at about 11 a.m. on Tuesday, the Akron Beacon Journal reported.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.

Rimal, who is hospitalized for undisclosed reasons, has been charged with murder, strangulation, domestic violence, tampering with evidence, abuse of a corpse, and making false reports.
