Soap Star Haley Pullos Seeks to Avoid Jail Time in Horrific DUI Crash

Former General Hospital star Haley Pullos is trying to negotiate her way out of a prison sentence in a DUI crash last year that sent another driver into emergency surgery.

Pullos allegedly berated and struck a firefighter trying to assess her injuries after the Pasadena crash, in which she swerved into ongoing traffic on the 134 Freeway and hit the victim head on, as CrimeOnline reported.

“This is a $400 f**king shirt!” the entitled 25-year-old yelled at the firefighter doing their job.

British tabloid The Daily Mail said that Pullos, who has pleaded not guilty in the April 2023 crash, may change her plea to guilty in hopes of getting less than 3 years in prison. She is charged with DUI and hit-and-run.

Attorneys told Judge Terry Smerling on Wednesday they were working on a “potential settlement.” Smerling scheduled another hearing for April 8, saying it “should be the last.”

Deputy District Attorney Melany Avanessians agreed, saying that if no deal is in place by that time, “we will send her to a preliminary hearing.”

Pullos did not appear in court on Wednesday. Her victim, 23-year-old Courtney Wilder, has sued the actress, the lounge where she was working and drinking just before the accident, and the California Department of Transportation.

Police said Pullos hit Wilder’s vehicle while traveling at 60 mph after she swerved and soared over the highway divider into oncoming traffic. Officers found mini bottles of tequila and marijuana edibles in the car.

Pullos played Molly Lansing-Davis in the daytime soap opera General Hospital from 2009 until the crash last year. The show recast her role, but Pullos has said she will return.
