Texas TikToker Camryn Herriage Fighting For Her Life After Deadly Hit-and-Run by ‘Extremely Drunk’ Driver

A beloved social media influencer is fighting for her life in a Texas hospital after she was struck by a drunk driver in a crash that also killed her friend, Fox 4 reports.

Camryn Herriage, 23, remains on a ventilator in the ICU following the February 11 wreck at an intersection along Beckley Avenue in Dallas, just two blocks from Herriage’s apartment.

Authorities say the driver of a Ford pickup barreled into the back of a vehicle Herriage was in along with her college roommate, Sara House, and three friends while they were waiting at a stoplight. House died from injuries she sustained in the crash.

Witnesses reported seeing the driver of the truck exit the vehicle “wearing a small black dress and white clubbing shoes,” the television station reported, quoting from an arrest warrant affidavit.

The driver, later identified as 27-year-old Carmen Guerrero, appeared to be “extremely intoxicated” and fled on foot, the affidavit said according to Fox 4.

Guerrero left her wallet in the truck, which led police to her. She faces charges of manslaughter and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and remains behind bars in the Dallas County Jail.

In December, Herriage graduated from Texas Tech University. She has 32,000 followers on TikTok in addition to her Instagram account.

Herriage’s sister, Casie Campanello, has been by her side for weeks in the hospital since the horrific incident.

“When she came out of her first surgery, the surgeon told us he told us he never saw anyone make it to the hospital with her injury,” Campanello told Fox 4. “So she has a purpose.”
