Florida Mom, Man Arrested in Connection With Baby Found Dead in Dumpster

Florida police have arrested the mother of an infant found dead in a dumpster in January.

A construction worker found the baby on January 8. On Friday, Hollywood Police said that they had identified Brenda Feliciano, 36, as the baby’s mother and charged her with failure to report a death, WSVN reported.

They also arrested Terence Warren, 59, saying that he helped Feliciano dispose of the body. He has been charged with improper disposal of a dead body.

The baby boy’s body was found inside a reusable Aldi bag in the dumpster, which was outside an apartment building, WTVJ reported. The owner of a roofing company notified police of the discovery, saying one of his employees had found the body.

“One of my job sites, we’re a roofing company, we have found a child in a dumpster,” the man says in the call. “Child, a kid, a human.”

No other information was released.
