Missing: 7-Year-Old Georgia Girl May Have Been Taken to Puerto Rico

Update 6 p.m.: The FBI has now joined in the search for 7-year-old Stella Salter, who was last seen on Friday in Metter, Georgia.

Authorities say the girl may have been taken to Puerto Rico by her non-custodial mother, Wendy Salter, WTOC reported.

Investigators in Georgia are looking for a missing mother and her 7-year-old daughter.

The Lyons Police Department said that “last contact” was made with Wendy Salter and her daughter on Friday, and they are believed to be traveling in a gold 2007 Volvo.

The Georgia State Patrol identified the girl as Stella Salter and said she was 4 feet 3 inches tall and 50 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes, WAGA said. Her mother was described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and 160 pounds with blonde hair and green eyes.
