Florida Mom Charged With Sending Threats to 11-Year-Old Girl Over TikTok

A Florida mom is accused of sending an 11-year-old girl dozens of threatening messages on TikTok.

Paola Zarate Lassalle, 28, was arrested and charged with written threats to kill or do bodily harm, according to an arrest affidavit filed by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

According to WOFL, the 11-year-old mother said her daughter, an Okeechobee Middle School sixth grader, had a problem with Zarate Lasalle’s daughter, but the pair worked it out at school. Then the mother noticed that her daughter was getting concerning messages from usernames that were eventually traced to Zarate Lassalle and her husband.

“Wake up lil girl if u want problems u got them f*** you and your momma and u got a dad so yeah b**** f*** with (my daughter) one more time and I promise u your mom and anybody that wants to get they a** whooped let me know because I’ll go to ur house don’t play with her,” one of the messages said.

The messages began on January 20, and on March 26, investigators confirmed with TikTok that they were linked to Zarate Lassalle.

She was arrested the following day and released on a $15,000 bond less than 24 hours later. According to jail records, she was ordered to have no contact with the victim, her family, or social media.
