Milwaukee Woman Missing for a Week, Car Found Burning 2 Miles From Home

Searchers looking for a missing teen at a Milwaukee park found a severed human body part on Friday and called in police.

It’s not known if the leg is linked to the case of Sade Carleena Robinson, 19, who was reported missing a week ago, WISN reported.

The park is a block away from where police investigated a car fire last week — and Robinson’s family said the car belonged to the missing woman.

Residents in the area called in the fire at around 7:30 Tuesday morning.

“It looked like somebody had started it. Nothing else was smoking outside the car, so it started on the inside,” said Patricia Newton-Powell.

The car was found burning about two miles from Robinson’s home.

Her mother, Sheena Scarborough, said she last communicated with her daughter on April  1 and last saw her on Easter Sunday at dinner. Robinson’s coworkers reported her missing on April 2 when she didn’t come to work.

Meanwhile, family and friends searching for Robinson on Saturday in the same area as the torched car and body part found a distinctive blanket belonging to the missing woman, according to WTMJ. That brought a large police presence into the area again.

Police consider Robinson “critically missing.”
