UPDATE: Cops to Release Final Report in Pastor’s Wife’s Suspicious Shooting Death

North Carolina police said they will provide an update regarding the case of a woman who was fatally shot last month.

According to WMBF, Robeson County Sheriff Burnis Wilkins said their report will include their full investigation, including what they believe happened to Mica Miller, 30. The woman’s husband, John-Paul Miller claimed she fatally shot herself in the head at Lumber River State Park in Lumberton on April 27.

“Sheriff Wilkins is also asking for everyone to please await the full timeline of events before making assumptions and coming to conclusions,” the police department said in a Facebook post.

Citing court records, the New York Post reported that Mica Miller filed for divorce in October 2023. According to The Robesonian, her family is claiming she also sought a no-contact order days before her death.
