Vermont Police Find Missing Twins, Non-Custodial Mom

Update: Authorities have located 12-year-old twins Robert and Colt Rushford. Their non-custodial mother, Heather Rushford, is in custody on undisclosed charges, WCAX reported.

Police in northern Vermont are looking for two twin boys believed to be with their non-custodial mother.

Colchester Police said that Robert and Colt Rushford, both 12, were last seen with their mother, Heather Rushford, at the Price Chopper Super Center in Colchester on Tuesday afternoon.

Heather Rushford may be driving a white, 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan with a Vermont tag HYR 907.

Investigators say they were alerted to the situation by a report of custodial interference and say there are concerns for the boys’ welfare, WCAX reported.
