Teen Girl Missing Since April is Possibly Human Trafficking Victim

California police said a 17-year-old girl who has been missing since April is possibly the victim of human trafficking.

Sacramento police believe Isabel Gallego has traveled to Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washington, since leaving her home on April 19 to meet Kyree Jackson, 25, who is a wanted felon. KCRA reported that Jackson has pending charges for illegal possession of a firearm and vehicle theft that are unrelated to Gallego’s disappearance.

According to KOVR, Gallego’s family said she left without any personal belongings and has not contacted them in more than two months. Her parents claimed Jackson came to their home and shook their hand two weeks before they vanished.

“He was super friendly. We met him. He said he was a 19-year-old, that’s how he described himself and Isabel did, he was just super friendly,” Gallego’s father told the news outlet.

Gallego was described as being standing 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing 105 pounds, and having brown eyes. Police said the teen has green hair and face piercings, though it is unclear if she has changed her appearance.
